British Tenor William Blake works at the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck, where he has had roles in Salome, La Traviata, and La Boheme, amongst other pieces. Previously he performed in venues as prestigious as Glyndebourne, Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, St. John's Smith Square, Norwich Cathedral, Sheldonian Theatre, Hackney Empire and Westminster Cathedral.
Opera and oratorio highlights include Mozart's Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Offenbach's L'Ile de Tulipatan and Orpheus in the Underworld, Handel's
Alcina and Messiah, covering in Madama Butterfly and Brett Dean's Hamlet, Mozart's Requiem, Haydn's The Creation, Bach's Matthäus- and Johannes-Passion, Magnificat and multiple cantatas in the RAM/Kohn Foundation Cantata series, Mendelssohn's Elijah and Rimsky-Korsakov's May Night, as well as Haydn's Creation and Britten's Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings.
Future Highlights include singing the role of 'Michael' in the Austrian Premiere of Wolfgang Mitterer's Peter Pan: The Dark Side.
